This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air top-of-the-line convertible was a high-class ride that featured Chevrolet's first V-8 engine. Although relatively small in displacement (265 cid), its 180 horsepower were more than enough to move the Bel Air with authority. The styling is classic. There's a suggestion of a jet-age aesthetic, but the car retains an organic friendliness, with it's visored headlights giving it an almost animal demeanor.

This spectacular Silver Arrow is the rarest of Pierce-Arrows, with only five of this limited-edition fastback produced. Priced at $10,000 during the depths of the depression it's small wonder. Still, the car was well received by both the public and the motoring press. Special attention was paid to aerodynamics; including the wide-angle V12, which allowed for a lower engine bay.
